Scorpion solitaire just solitaire3/28/2024 ObjectiveĬlear all the cards by building sequences within the tableau, separated by suit and arranged in descending order from King (high) to Ace (low). Well-suited for intermediate players, Spider Solitaire (2 Suits) uses 104 cards-1 deck of Hearts and 1 deck of Spades. Scorpion is a solitaire card game using a deck of 52 playing cards. If you enjoy Spider Solitaire but want more of a challenge, you’re ready for Spider Solitaire (2 Suits). The object of this game is to form four columns of suit sequence cards from king down to ace.Īlthough somewhat related to Spider, the method of game play is akin to Yukon. The game starts with 49 cards dealt into seven columns of seven cards each on the tableau. The first four columns each have three face-down cards with four face-up cards placed over them. The cards in the remaining three columns are all faced up. The three leftover cards are set aside for later.Ĭards in the tableau are built down by suit and every face up card is available for play, no matter where in the column it is. That means that any card can be placed on top of a card that is a rank higher. However, once a card from the bottom or middle of a column is moved, all cards on top of it are moved as well as one unit. Furthermore, once a face-down card is exposed, it is turned face up.Īlso, nothing can be placed on an ace and gaps on the tableau can only be taken by kings or sequences with Kings as their bottom cards. When no more moves are possible, the three leftover cards are dealt onto the first three columns and put into play.Īs earlier mentioned, the object of the game is to build four columns of suit sequences from king down to ace. So when one such column is built successfully, it is a general rule to leave this column alone, unless it covers a face-down card. You can use super moves to make your game playing more efficient.Ĭlicking or dragging a card that isn't immediately accessible will attempt to move all the cardsĪbove it in its stack until the move is valid. The effect will be the same as clicking each card. The effect is the same as clicking each card. If you decide to move the draggedĬard(s) somewhere else, just drag them there and the other cards will go back to where they Move, hold the dragged card(s) at the destination for a second. Undoing the move will also move the cards back.Scorpion Solitaire is similar to Spider Solitaire but played more like Yukon Solitaire. The game has a fair bit of luck in it and is not very easy to beat. However, the Easy Scorpion Solitaire variant is much easier. Scorpion Solitaire's goal is to build all 4 ordered suits from king down to ace in the tableau, each of which is automatically sent to a foundation as it's completed. Scorpion Solitaire is played with a 52-card deck of standard playing cards. When the game starts, a pile of 7 cards is dealt into each of the 7 tableau columns. Except for the 12 hidden cards, 3 in each of the first 4 piles (or first 3 piles in Easy Scorpion Solitaire for a total of 9 hidden cards), all cards are face-up and visible. The remaining 3 cards in the deck are set face-down and squared in the stock. In order to win the game, the player must build all 4 suits within the tableau from the king to the ace. As each is built, the game automatically sends it to a foundation. In this game, technically, only one card may be moved at a time. However, if there are cards on top of the source card, they all come along for the ride. If not a king, the source card must be moved onto a target card that is bottom-most in a pile, next in rank to the source card, and of the same suit.Ī column is empty when all cards have been moved from it. Since the king has no next-in-rank, it can't be moved to another pile, so it must be moved into a vacant column. It's important to remember that the king is the only rank that is allowed to be put into a vacant column. It's also worth noting that since the ace is the lowest in rank, no card may be placed atop of it. When all cards have been moved to the player's liking within the tableau, they must click on the stock. Here are 7 tips on how to beat Scorpion Solitaire: The player then continues to play until either the game is won or there are no more useful moves that can be performed.
